Carla oversees innovation programs geared towards accelerating and commercializing the transformative ideas of Boston Children’s clinicians and researchers to extend the reach of, and access to, Boston Children’s expertise. Responsible for the creation of KidsMD, Feverprints, Crowd Clinical, DisCo and other consumer, clinician and platform technologies, the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator combines Boston Children’s data, clinical expertise, and health care technology development experience, with leading worldwide industry partners – including start-ups – to transform health care globally.
Leveraging her experience in startup sales, marketing and business strategy, Carla has worked with over 100 Boston Children’s innovators, shaping the high-touch accelerator that builds and scales market competitive digital health technologies. She received her MBA from the Harvard Business School and her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
